Meet JoJo
For our founder Jo, her friends and lovers almost inevitably start to refer to her affectionately as JoJo. This affectionate name captures the essence of JoJo, which is all about connection.
JoJo's pieces are inspired by the fun, sexy moments: laughing and clinking glasses with friends, stolen glances at a bar. Each piece celebrates these connections, Those lingering moments with empty glasses and half-eaten plates.
Jo's passion for organic jewellery is inspired by the ancient tradition of adornment and why we do it. Her mission is simple: to make people feel good through beautiful jewellery.
How is Jojo made?
All JoJo pieces are handmade using the ancient technique of lost wax casting. This involves carving and manipulating wax which is then cast into solid recycled silver.
We love this making process and embrace it, allowing our pieces to feel molten, the way they were in wax. Handmaking jewellery means each piece is subtly different meaning our pieces are as individual as the people who wear them.
